Why Tornos x Ellison Technologies?
Tornos partnered with Ellison Technologies in middle of 2024. Ellison Technologies is a Tornos distributor in 15 US states. To launch off a successful partnership, Tornos and Ellison hosted a open house in Des Plaines, Illinois (Tornos US HQ).
This collaboration is significant because it combines Tornos' expertise in precision CNC machinery, particularly Swiss-type turning technology, with Ellison Technologies' extensive network and experience as a leading machine tool integrator.
Essentially, this partnership will allow manufacturers in the designated states to more easily access Tornos' advanced machining solutions, including their Swiss GT series and MultiSwiss platforms.





















Setting up for Tornos x Ellison Open House
1) Rent extra chairs and tables
2) Rent curtains for the warehouse to cover up walls
3) Create social media posts and email blasts to attract attendance
4) Coordinate with vendor partners to get marketing materials from them
5) Organize raffle prizes from vendor partners for guests attending
6) Create a theme for the open house
7) Create badges for registered attendees (guests)
8) Order custom branded lanyards for attendees (guests)
9) Put together videos for TV's around the office to showcase the Tornos x Ellison partnership and showcase vendors
10) Makes sure inside and outside of the office is clean (order cleaning services)
11) Set up all vendor tables around the office (try to keep competitors separated)
